14:34 I swear this library is located near a black hole. Time dilation can be such a bitch.

Daily Status Post

16:45 Just scrolled through may radio pre-sets and every station was a guitar solo. Rock!

21:39 On Best Dance Crew Lil' Mama just used the term 105,000%. I think she underestimates 100% as well as the subjectivity of percentages.

Daily Status Post

16:45 Bad drivers today are lucky. I don't have time to follow them suspiciously until they run stop signs to get away. Like last night.

Right, I haven't posted pictures of our new cat

Her name is River.  We figured it's appropriate as we rescued her from a kill shelter.  Also, the people there suspect that she has a history of abuse or at least neglect.

When we first got her she was skittish and would spend entire days under the bed, waiting until she was alone to explore and eat.  Well, now she will follow us around, squeak for attention and sit on the couch with us, purring non-stop.  She's adorable and we couldn't be happier or more impressed with how far she's come.

19:09 Friend just got pulled over with me in back seat. Got yelled at for HAVING a camera. Fucking pig.

[EDIT]
So I was riding in the back seat of my friend's car. She gets pulled over for speeding. As the cop is taking her papers he looks back and sees the camera, off, lens cap on, sitting on the passenger seat next to me. He then asks:
"Why is that camera sitting there like that? Are you taking pictures?"
I tell him that I'm going to take pictures at the concert we're headed to. The one he made us tell him about when he asked what our purpose of traveling was...

I love the police so much. It's like the (think) they can do anything! Seriously, can I ever have an experience with a police officer where they don't abuse their power? And that includes my douche bag of a D.A.R.E. officer!

Strike!

So apparently there's a users' strike against Livejournal today. Users participating are not to post or comment for a ful 24 hours. I think it's to protest certain decisions LJ has made. This is to teach LJ that some users aren't happy with how the company is run. Not that I think LJ is run on sunshine, love and cinnamon scented puppies but I can't see A) how this will make any sort of impact. B) who, other than those protesting, will care. Well, we'll see how it works out. Or doesn't.

Get off my lawn!

So I just chased off a bunch of skateboarders away from the library. Does that make me on old fuddy-duddy? Or is there an exemption clause because they "suck at life"?
